xtr ordnry eductinl fld trip!!!!!

Feb. 28, 2009
It was our educational field trip, entitled "DMMC-IHS on Tour" in Bulacan. Well, it was not like any other boring field trip because this one has hiking activity, against from the boring historical and museums.
Woke up 2:30 am, took bath and all that rituals going out... No breakfast yet! T.T
Went to school with Sheila at exactly 4 am, surprisingly we were one of the first students came. Got on numbered 2 bus, consisting all the 1st year students, irregulars, bio-med students and some staff. I actually reserved seats for the PTs but they were late! All other students wanted to take those seats, and on my dismay I gave them away! Then, I don't know if it is fortunately or unfortunately, the accounting staff announce that all paid students will go down the bus! It was due to jammed pack population of the students joining the trip. They said that they will prioritized first those who already paid to have a seat than others who presented promissory note. Others were forced to pay, like Sheila, (tawagin b nmn nme mo s mike n nkasigaw p! hnd k kya mphiya nun). After all that jazz, we were still on the same seat but jammed pack, those in the middle seat were said to be transferred in another bus waiting in Sucat. the normal number in a row is five, but in Allen's row, they were 6! Namely Claire, Tin, Allen, Ange, Nieeveh and Sheena, while me and Sheila were seating comfortably! =.=

The bus took off around 6 am! very late from the said 5:15 departure time. Along the way, our tour guide explain those landmarks we passed by. He even gave a little ice breaker, which was very childish indeed, but we all participated!
First stop, the Barasoain church. Arrived at around 8 - 9 am.. went to museum and bla bla bla...
Second stop, the home for the aged. Where we were able to had some chit-chats with the elderly confined in this pitiful place! Yes. It is pitiful place! Your here all alone with other elderly any volunteers but no relatives! Heart breaker!

Third stop, Ocampos house of Sweets! BUt it was a long long travel from the church to this house of sweets. It felt like from other boarder to another boarder of Bulacan Province. Most of us ate junk foods. Arriving here, we thought of lunch time but hell no! we were supposed to eat at Biak na Bato which is another 30 mins travel and it was already 1 pm! Most of our bus mates were hallucinating due to starving! some were playing with them selves. the most stupid part ws our stomach denied all those junk foods and demanded on rice!

"may food ka pa?"
"eto lang"
"ah ah! chichiria n nmn?! ayoko n nyan!"
Allen
Biak na Bato! Biak na Tyan ko!
sir Louie
one more kilometer!
Allen
siguraduhin nio lang n mganda yan!
Then we arrived at biak na bato! School mates ate their lunch. Sheila and I went on our Subo system. Others went on changing clothes. We also bought new pairs of flip flops for the hiking.
The bus took us for another ride to the entrance to the cave. it was very rocky road! some went stumbling. Bus 1 and Bus 2 along with bus 3 were separated so that we can be manageable. We went inside the cave. crawling and creeping in the dark. if you really wanted light, just shout "TANGLAW" then the tour guide will lend you a light. Luckily, Claire and Allen brought their own flash light that our group used. There were also a time when you need to duck lower or climb stiff elevation or squeezed your self thru a hole.
After those walks, went to the river and clean our selves up. Some just put their feet on and some really take a plunge in the river.
After Bulacan, the side trip to a mall before going home took place. We thought it will be MOA again but this time we went to Trinoma. A very fascinating mall who have money for running water! Eye swear, this mall have no consideration on saving water, there is water along the stairs, every corner there is a fountain, on the side there is a little canal... everywhere you turned you can see water.
Wait at the parking lot for others then went home! We reached home around 11 pm, that was for those who reside at the Sto. Tomas town proper, but some of our classmates were from Talisay, Malvar, Laurel! hell no! 0.0
although, I was still able to take a bath but can no longer wait for hair to dry, went to sleep with wet hair!

Time for pictures! here are some of the pictures taken during th entire trip! moi, claire, joel and ange brought our own camera, tus decided to share pictures...
